It's the epic game version, if you have a uplay account linked to your epic games account you can launch the uplay version and the controller will work. I had the same problem with the nvidia controller. Next problem is though, Far Cry 5 doesn't run well on GFN. Big picture tells me There is no controller for Far Cry 5 in big yellow letters, go figure. People with only the uplay version also had the same problem as us steam users, and changing the steam settings didn't work for all of us. Every other game with controller support works, so, it is some kind of problem with the game. I'm not sure if this will work for Steam controllers but I was having the same problem with my PS4 controller emulating as an Xbox controller. Just go into Big Picture, Far Cry 5, Manage Game, Controller Options, Use Steam Configuration for Non-Steam Controllers - Forced Off. Hey, I'm trying to use my 360 controller with FC4 Patch 4 without success. It is detected and works on the title screen, but then the game ignores the pad completely.
